Look! It's not a snowflake!

I'm still in a designing snowflake mode, which will probably last until January when I need to come up with some new designs for the seniors class. To give readers a break from the flurry of white stuff I thought I'd show you something else I designed. This one was done a couple of months ago when I was trying to think of ways to incorporate beads that didn't have to be strung on to start with. This worked, sort of.

Lovely choker, with a Victorian feel to it. How did you incorporate the beads, if you did not string them at the beginning? Are there split chains in that (beaded?) scalloped border? It is a very intriguing design.

Hi! Do you have directions somewhere for this necklace?? I just found your blog.

This is one of the designs I created and never documented. Wonder of wonders, I still have the necklace which works better as a choker than a necklace because it doesn't curve around the neck neatly. The design is dead simple and if I get a chance I'll do the pattern for it and post it.
